Lessons from the Planet of Beauty and Harmony

Finding Joy in your Work

When we last spoke you received from us an exercise, the practice of remembering, and we had advised to expand the light of remembering when you first open your eyes in the morning. When you create the flow of light through your intention, the light will follow your thoughts.

When you create a field, a space for creativity for yourself and you watch how artists get fully absorbed in their creative endeavours, you see perfection flowing, a flow that is visible or audible, depending on the art form that you choose to enjoy.

It is the same with any kind of work that people do. We on the Planet of Beauty and Harmony have a different understanding of work, but that does not mean that we do not work like you do. We will typically do it with much more joy though than so many of your brothers and sisters on Earth, as we know what contribution we are making to the well-being of our planet and our people and we truly enjoy living our talents in it.

Happy people and work

When humans on Earth think of work, they often think of the routine, the repetitive aspect of it, and they fail to see the joy of working with enthusiasm. Sometimes though there are exceptions and people will find joy in doing the mundane – those are the happy people of the world that you live in, as they have made the choice to enjoy what they do. We observe that the “thinkers” on your planet have a hard time finding joy. They do get absorbed in what they are doing, but often we see more joy coming from somebody cutting hair than from people that are highly successful in their capacity to earn a high renumeration.

You must remember, work is a part of life and the enjoyment one derives from it is often the reward that people really seek. When you are stuck in a job where you earn lots of money, but you are lacking the joy, the enjoyment of being in the flow, then it is very hard to keep up the enthusiasm internally. Yes, such people might present the image of the successful, driven person, but it is often driven by fear, rather than joy and that is not the best way of going about something.

Intention to enjoy work

When you start work with the intention to be in the flow and you, consciously or unconsciously, live this, then you become a creator even in the midst of a boring set of repetitive tasks. You become that, which we call a creative mind, who will live the experience of being in the flow in the day-to-day situations. Being able to enjoy what you do is such a big part of the overall well-being of a person, so we advise those who do not believe that work can be joy, to try and set their intention to enjoy it as much as a child enjoys its play.

The last few years with your pandemic situation have prompted many people to reevaluate their work, but so many are seemingly unable to switch, as their entrapment in the dictionary of corporate speak and society’s norms, are so deeply entrenched that they have to conform to norms and expectations.

That is unfortunate to see, but be assured that many have realised the calling of their soul to be full of joy, that many have heard and felt, there is a different path ahead. It is a just a matter of time, of remembering, so the practice of remembering that we shared with you, may be quite a simple exercise, but it is an important step in reminding people to return to joy.
