Rethinking Humanity

Lessons from the Planet of Beauty and Harmony

Of Queens and Kings

You had a busy time with all the happenings in your life and on Earth. As we have observed, the death of a queen is touching the public life on Earth and many people seem to have an opinion on this, whilst others cannot be bothered by it.

From our perspective we see any power structure like the pyramidal structure that such a kingdom represents, rather critical. Mind you, we do not condemn the individuals who make up this structure. You know we would never do that, but we rather see them as victims of this structure, just like the people that they call their people, or sometimes very rudely, subjects. This is not an ownership of people, just like it is not a “god”-given right to rule over others.

Even kings have little power

As you have observed, even kings have very little real power. Yes, they might be able to suggest and to cajole their servants into doing certain things, but if you look at history, you will find that no single person alone can fight a war, that no single person alone can resurrect an economy. It is just not possible, as everything in nature needs collaboration. The political structures on Earth are purely man-made and have been cemented into structures that cannot escape their own rigidity. Yes, the players come and go, queens die and kings are named, politicians come and go, but the structure itself is cemented into the heads of those that stand to benefit from them.

Now, imagine if no-one on Earth has somebody else to blame for their own mistakes, but society as a whole comes together to take responsibility within their own areas of life, be it their personal life, be it their community. Through the years of observation that you have trained yourself to, you have seen through many such attempts of cementing a status-quo and also, how the players themselves are trapped in them. Now is the time to reconsider whether such structures even make sense. Alone the thought of replacing them with a different approach to governance, frightens so many people. But, what is there to fear?

Who are “those”?

How come so many people are happy to shirk all responsibility, to leave decision-making to others that they don’t even know personally, and then complain about the way things are run so badly by “those”. Who are “those”? Why do you keep subscribing to this idea that someone else is allowed to take away your freedom to make decisions on your behalf and then you feel bad about it, when they do so? This is not to criticise the power structures on Earth wholesale. There are pockets on the local level where there is often a true willingness to make things happen for the local community, but as soon as you leave the local aspect, your structures become impersonal. When they become impersonal, the decision making runs contrary to the development needs and best interests of the people within this structure. That is something that you on Earth have to seriously reconsider, if you are to make faster progress.

Personal freedom as way of life

You will not find such structures here on our planet anymore. We have done away with them, as we collectively rose above the limits of the mind. As you know, it started, like everything else, with an idea, and pursuing this idea, endorsing the idea of personal freedom, became a way of life. Today no-one here looks for a leader that is born into a certain privilege, but it is only on merit that leaders of the moment are put in charge of a project. We do not run political structures like you do, as this was a huge hindrance to our development, so we have done away with them. Frankly speaking, nobody here misses them as they are an obstacle, rather than a stepping stone to live beauty and harmony.

Who is to lead?

As you know, there are two grown up children, one being the heir, the other being the one that has to make way. This is again something that is very human-like. Here on the Planet of Beauty and Harmony, we don’t subscribe to the idea of a sovereign and his heirs, but we leave the decision on who is to lead entirely to the local community group. They will delegate experts for a certain length of time, but everybody is very clear right from the beginning, that this honour must be taken very seriously. When our councils get together to discuss the challenges and structures that we require to fix the challenges, they all have in mind that they are there to serve. It is not a race or competition between strong and stronger, but a mixing and merging of various talents that can all contribute to resolving the challenge on hand. You would do well on Earth to return to this kind of governance, but as you know there are still quite a few people that do not have the consciousness to undertake something like that, so it will take a while.

To conclude on this observation, we know that many people enjoy the spectacle associated with the royal pageantry more than the actual idea of the ruler, so we suggest to hold your games in a controlled setting. Yes, by all means uphold the spectacles, but always ensure that everyone is aware, that this is stage play, not the reality that people are to live. You will find that the interest in maintaining this kind of facade will wane over time.
