You have received the news that there is a change in governments in several countries in the world. Leaders come and go, and as you know, so many of your leaders are self-serving, rather than servants of the people that have a say in putting them into positions of leadership. Nominally in your world, you have democracies and you have dictatorships and a whole range of shades in between. Do not believe for a second, that they are that much different, for all of them are pyramidal structures. There are very few organisations that have managed to turn from the pyramidal structure to the natural way of the spiral. Your leaders are trapped in the structures that they lead and the freedom that seems to be given to people to elect these leaders, will not change anything, as long as people believe that they actually need these structures. You have to observe and discern, what these structures should and need to provide. Do not allow the structures of government and business to take over all your life, as you will be subjected to so many different needs, that it is very hard for any discerning human on Earth to fulfil all the demands that puts on them. You are to be servants of your own development, your own remembering, your own highest self, first, before you can become servants to others. 

We had talked about the role of being a servant before, and how this has been much misunderstood on Earth. How can being a servant be a matter of giving up your own freedom, how can being a servant of the people be anything but a sincere service when the intention is right and the discernment of what it means to serve is understood? You have examples of leadership in your history, where humble people became leaders and stayed humble. That former president of Uruguay in his little car comes to mind, but it is very difficult for most leaders to remain so, as the structures that surround them are geared to maintain a certain rigidity that disallows any change. You have to go deeper than that though and see the person behind the role, the person who brings his or her own experiences to the table and tries to fulfil a role that they are not familiar with. So often, the ego structure will start to rule, as the discernment and the ability to tame this structure  have not been sufficiently developed. 

Develop talents

We talked about education before and how we train ourselves, how we educate our young openly and how we constantly are on the lookout for improvements. This is not something that is widely spread on Earth. Yes, you do have organisations that have this mantra of constant improvement, but do they really offer the chance and the support for everyone to develop at their best? As you know, every human brings different talents to the experience of their incarnation and is is critical for the development of humanity on Earth, that true leadership starts to show, where that special talent of every human is developed to its fullest potential. You have many examples where individuals live what they love, artists or sports people, and they are willing to set everything aside to develop their skills and talents further and further, to reach the mastery that they imagine, to achieve the records that they use to compare themselves to their peers. These are true examples of development and as you know, in some sports you have whole teams of people to promote these talents, the trainers and service people, the nutritionists and the masseurs. Why is this level of support not available to everyone? When a talent has been spotted, say in sports or in music, the parents and trainers will do their best to develop the child along that path, sometimes for the better, sometimes making things worse, as they break the child’s spirit and enthusiasm. It is a fine line that every educator is walking, and it needs a constant high level of discernment to understand where to push and where to lay off. 

Service as true calling

Now, what we are getting at, is that this kind of support must be accessible for every human so that you all can develop your talents and live them at their best. It does not matter whether one is good at one thing or another, whether one can become a “star” – a much misused word on Earth -, or simply works in the background to deliver a service that benefits the whole. Yes, here we are back to serving. A servant will need to be developed with the highest level of respect for their role in society, for being a servant is truly a huge contribution that everyone should be proud of (not in the ego-sense of the word), but proud to live true service, such as what the big avatars like Jesus and St Francis have shown. They all started with the advantage of being more enlightened than others, with remembering to return to their inner world so that they could develop their talents and eventually their examples shone throughout history. There are many of them, many men and women throughout history that have done this and most of them will never be known by the following generations. So many of them are parents, mothers especially and we salute them for their service. We hope and we see, that mankind has the ability to develop service as a true calling again. In your societies today, service is a task that people shy away from, as the respect and the support is often lacking. If you look at the industries that depend on lots of people to serve others, you will find today, that many do not want to return to this field, as they feel and know, there is something lacking. 

Discernment to reorganise

On the other hand you have those scrambling to be in the limelight, and we see that there is just so much of that going on in your world, that it begets wonderment as to who will be able to see every little star in the sky. Your servants of the people that are putting themselves forward in the political arena, mostly forget their roots, forget why they started to serve in the first place as they rise up the ranks, and that is a pity, for we see in lots of them the true willingness to serve being turned into tools to keep their fellow people entrapped within the structures that they represent. It will need the discernment of every human to start reorganising this, to walk away from the power structures that do not serve more than the pure immediate needs of the community, to give up on statehood and flags and all the symbols that represent a certain power that each and every government leader becomes accustomed to. It needs a return to seeing the people, not the symbols, of promoting the wellbeing of each individual within a community, instead of the displays of power and sometimes pure disrespect that can be seen. Not every government in the world is led by wise people. There are many “fools” that are driven by their egos, who are in places of power and they continue to disregard the needs of the communities entrusted to them, but that is a choice for the people to make. 

When you allow the structures to rule your lives, you will have to put up with the consequences of this. When you develop a healthy level of discernment, we don’t want to use the word disrespect as that belittles the importance of having support structures, then you become able to decide for yourself, on what is good for you, is good for the whole. No leader in his right state of self-respect will allow the disrespect of the structures, but being critical about the way decisions are being made, the ability to foresee the consequences of mass-action, the ability to stand up against pure foolishness, all these are critical and need to be nurtured as much as the ability to play a beautiful piece of music or to excel at sports. Your training system, your whole system of education needs to be adjusted and all this will take time, but as you know, we have done it, and so can you.

We did not start out with everyone being discerning, we had lots of foolishness in our midst as well, but we decided to make changes, we decided to examine the ways of doing things very critically, so that we could decide on a course of action and embark on the changes that we needed as a society. Remember how we talked about the reason for calling our planet the Planet of Beauty and Harmony. The name is the program and it was a very deliberate decision to adopt this name for our mother-planet, as it reminds us to continue striving for beauty and harmony in all we do. That is our destiny as a human race on this planet and we have developed quickly through this. You on Earth can do the same. Start with remembering who you are, start with being a servant to self, not your ego, to strive to develop your talents to their utmost, look for people that can help you to develop without their egos trying to project something that is not. It takes a lot of care, a lot of planning, a lot of discernment, but you have but to start and then it will develop by itself. Your leaders will change, they will continue to come and go, but as you develop yourself, as you project the example of what it is to live with integrity, societies can and will change. 

World-class city

You have an example of what has become a nation, that rose from the swamps, a jungle, to become a world-class city. This happened because the leaders of that time decided on a course of development and also decided to remain flexible to discard policies and approaches, that did not work. Yes, Singapore is a fine example of development and we hope and wish for the beautiful people there, that they continue to embrace continuous improvement, but with less stress than today. The balance will establish itself, as the leaders are carefully selected and nothing is left to chance. That is the great example that you can see on your planet and we do hope and wish to see the same level of care and creation expanded across many more political entities. There is obviously a balance between the needs of a society and the needs of the individual, but if the direction is clear, if discernment is being used in deciding on policies, then being the servants of the people will resonate with the people that are being served, rather than the disrespect that so many of the political class breed through their disregard for their role that they have been selected for.
